Werewolves, Word Count & Water

Standard

Today my plans for a productive day went out of the window when my youngest fell ill. He was fine in the morning but just after we got home from the school run he complained of a sore tummy and then the madness started. He’s as white as a sheet and I’m trying to get him to drink cooled boiled water to flush out his system but he’s fighting me for his Orange juice and chocolate. Fingers crossed this is just a 24 hour thing as I don’t think either of us could stand another day of him being ill.

Apart from that my current WIP is coming along nicely even if I have had to put it on hold today. The word count is close to 8000 and I’m pretty darn proud of that considering I only started writing it at the start of the week and had a million and one other ‘Mummy’ things to do. I get three solid hours of writing time to myself per night and try to shut myself off from everything to get some work done. Sometimes that’s hard though (esp when Pinterest is available and there’s so many pretty things to pin).

On a finishing note, with regards to my current WIP, never work with Werewolves. They’re unpredictable. You expect them to do one thing and for the story to go in one direction but as I discovered last night, they decide to go completely against what you thought they would do and rip your storyline to shreds…. Literally.
